Not until I became a mother myself, I have a new found respect and understanding for my mother, who not only raised and cared for me, but put up with my crazy demands and managed my rebellious behavior at times (okay, MOST times).
Not until I became a mother myself, I realized what did she really mean when she said "You will know when you become a mother"
Not until I became a mother myself, I could say "When mother is mad at you, it doesn't mean she doesn't love you"
So here's to you Mom,
It’s a wonderful feeling to be able to be aware of the depth of the love that someone has showered upon you. And in the past 18 months, I have found that it is an even greater happiness to become a source of that kind of love for someone else.
